Liquid stitches, anyone?

So last week was primo dreamo because I spent every single day celebrating my birthday with fun and friends until my leap day birthday. But you know, the perfect weekend just had to be ruined with an emergency trip to the ER. 5ish hours chasing this 1.5 year old around (sorry to everyone else there but this kiddo could not be contained). I brought drinks and snacks and books and toys and he just wanted to run. Honestly though, it wasn’t that bad. Everyone was super nice, he got his little boo boo glued up and we were home by 9PM. Fun fact: my dad is working on a patent for some type of dissolvable glue so be on the lookout for that someday! My dad’s too cool. Hi dad!

So all day yesterday I was so excited for tacos because last night was supposed to be taco night (uhh on a Monday, Abby?!) but thank the stars Georgie is ok! We made tacos tonight with Lilac Hedge ground beef and they were **chef kiss**. Seriously about to order some more for home delivery tonight.

No big events this weekend so it’ll be nice to slow down. I’ve been all over the place with events and parties and I’m always afraid I’m going to burn myself out. That’s a me problem.

Should hire but can’t afford to. This girl is on a budget.

In other news, if you didn’t know, the farmer’s market is donzo for the season which means I’m sad. Also means I have more time to fill catering orders so give them to me so I can be happy again!

What else happened this past week? Well, let’s see. I’m the queen of panic ordering and get roped into things easily sometimes when caught off guard so we now have a lovely hot water and cold water dispenser at the house. Costco special, obviously. Chelmsford water is terrible and I can’t buy bottled water anymore because it’s so bad for mama earth..so kind of glad I got suckered into this water dispenser. My Brita was meh anyway. This new guy is priced well. Has child locks. Looks fine shoved in the corner.

That’s a quick up date for you. Just want to say thank you to everyone that wished me a happy 9th birthday, wrote thoughtful cards, wrapped beautiful gifts, dropped off treats and everything in between! Your kindness gives me warm fuzzy feelings and I love you all! I appreciate every single one of you and our cheesy loving friendships!

Off to bath time! See you Thursday!

Abby

P.S. Here’s a photo of the stranding desk he smashed his head on and my husband bought black foam covering and zip tied it to the metal bar. Notice the new water dispenser. 😂Trev’s taco salad and Gerogie’s boo boo. He looks sad but I had the flash on by accident and blinded him. Whoops.

BYE!
