It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me

No better person than Taylor Swift to remind me that I am technologically inept. Oh well. The good news is that I updated my updates page and my events page so that’s all set. I wanted to have a clickable link for event checkout but my mom brain tells me no can do and after googling what felt like the entire afternoon, I just gave up. If you want to sign up for a class with me you can come by the shop or you can send me an email at grazechelmsford@gmail.com for the payment link. I can either email it or text it to you. Honestly though, I can’t be bothered by this. 2023 intentions: don’t overthink, just let it be until someone else can figure it out for me. I need to catch up on some sleep and figure out my plans for the week. My husband said today felt like a Tuesday but every day feels the same to me right now so I never know what day it is anymore. Ok, goodnight!

Ok wait, today was actually an exciting day and I know it’s Monday. A couple years back I downloaded this app called Too Good To Go and it’s essentially fighting food waste within your local community. It could be from restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. You can choose your location, reserve your surprise meal and pick it up within the appropriate time frame. It’s actually pretty awesome. I picked up amazing surprise bags from Crosby’s and The Concord Cheese Shop for $4.99 a pop. Sometimes I’d hit the jackpot and get a tub of chicken salad and a whole thing of rolls along with a box of cookies. One time I got a bunch of desserts and hummus. It’s different every time and whatever the store has surplus of that day is what you’ll get. I’m not going to be making a hundred dollars from it but I’m making a few extra bucks and I’m giving away food that would otherwise be tossed unfortunately. You’re supporting your local businesses but you’re also saving a perfectly good meal. So much food is wasted in this industry so I’m proud to be part of this growing community now. Another reason I signed up for this is because I’ve found that Monday’s are so0o0o slow at the shop. It’s also right after all the hustle and bustle of holiday cheer but I feel like no one wants to go out and spend money or really do much of anything except hang on the couch and watch the new season of Ginny and Georgia. Guilty. Anyway, I decided to join the app as a business last night and had a quick and pleasant call from a point of contact this afternoon who introduced me to the company and asked how the new self-onboarding process went for me. Easy. Today I decided to sell 7 surprise bags and was pleasantly greeted by each customer. Super nice, super easy transactions. Highly recommend if you’re a foodie business and don’t feel like eating 2lbs of chicken salad and 5 scones for the rest of the week.

P.S. I have a referral link and we both get $120 when you sell your first surprise bag on the platform. $120 is big bucks. Life is expensive these days. OK. Goodnight for real because my laptop is at 2% and my phone is in the red.

See yahs Thursday morning at the shop!
