I’m still here!

Yeah, kind of forgot about my blog for a few weeks.

Anyway, here I am on a Wednesday afternoon eating leftover soup while making new soup. Well, chicken stock but it’ll turn into soup someday. Baby is in nap city and I’m pretty sure so is the dog and my husband. Good time to write a quick blog.

Question. Is standing and eating in the kitchen a thing moms do or is it because we got rid of our dining room table? I feel like my meals are rushed so I just end up eating while I’m cooking. I have to utilize my time wisely because I’ve found there’s so little time in the day to do literally anything anymore. We used our dining table maybe 3 times since 2019 so it was time to go. Go as in stored in the sun room so $75 to the first person who wants it! It’s still got some life left…with only 3 chairs!

Where did I leave off on my last blog? I’m too lazy to go back and look so apologies if you’re reading the same stuff again. For all I know no one’s even reading these but I like to pretend.

Let’s see, February was fun from what I can remember. The last weekend was super jam-packed with the store being open, the final farmer’s market, two sauerkraut classes, and a cheese board class. I work better under pressure so what’s why I’ve booked about 100 things for this weekend too. Oh, I’ll be closed Saturday (3/18) for a few events but don’t worry if you have orders that day, I’ve worked around my day to make sure I’m there for your time slot!

If you haven’t seen my my post from yesterday, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM. My emails have been hiding in there and I’m not ignoring you. Sometimes I’m bad at remembering to email you the same day but I’m trying to make it a priority. My brain only works from 10am-3pm, much like my shop hours. It’s all I can mentally handle these days.

Last week I attended my first networking event at Tory Burch and while I originally was going to go by myself to battle my slight social anxiety, I ultimately invited a bunch of other business pals. So glad I did because the event was awesome, everyone was so cool, and we got GCs to Eddie V’s AND my husband got the baby to bed early so I was free to do whatever the rest of night. The stars aligned finally. Me and the lady pals all went out after for munchies and had some serious laughs and now I think a dinner party is in the future.

Darn, the baby is awake.

This week I have a St. Patrick’s day cheese board making class so I’m v excited about that. I picked out some really nice Irish cheeses for everyone so tomorrow night should be fun! Wear your greenest attire!

I’m thinking about doing the summer market in the common because 1. It’s like a 30 second walk from my shop and 2. I could hire a kiddo to pour chilled glittery lemonades and hand out mini snack boxes so I could hang in the shop… or hire another kiddo to hang in the shop. I haven’t decided yet. I get a lot of grazing table requests for weekends so I’d like to keep those open.

Oh and in other great news, Georgie is 7 months today! I just snapped a quick photo so you all can see his cutie face. He’s a big boy now!

I haven’t decided on my next cheese board class. What’s next? Easter? Mother’s Day? If you have a fun class you’d like to teach send me an email! We’re closed MTW so let that be your oyster. I’m not sure I used that saying right. 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ Off to tend to my chicken stock!
