It’s getting real guys.

Ok. I know, I know, this whole reno thing is taking forever but between being a first time mom and about a trillion other things going on, I’m slowly making progress. Doesn’t seem like much since you’ve all been left in the dark for for a long time but I promise you I’m getting things done!

I’m actually pleasantly surprised I’m getting a lot of things done because, you know, I have a brand new baby. Thankfully we’re on a nice schedule and he’s been pretty dang easy. (Thanks, Georgie!) Fingers crossed it doesn’t change but I’m sure it will!

In other news, I met with the BOH today to try and get paperwork squared away and was sent to the clerks office then back to the health department and down to the building inspector, and yet again, back to the clerks office. I’ll have to drop in again this week. Chelmsford is keeping me in shape running around more than this whole baby thing!

Prep sink is to be installed on Wednesday and I have someone coming to install coving around the kitchen Thursday. Those two things are some of the last steps I need to reopen! The next big project will be to repaint over the bright pink walls and tone it down for some laid back, Scandi vibes.

Starting in November I’ll be at the Maxwell’s Winter market this season and while the opening weekend is completely booked, I’ll be there the following weekend with those beloved mini snack boxes and croissant sammies you all go nuts for. Unfortunately though, I won’t be using Neighbors Acre microgreens as she’s moved to Texas for some brand new life experiences. So jealous!! (Shoutout to Karen, my microgreen queen! Miss you already!) I guess I’ll have to use arugula on the sammies but I promise they’ll still be yummy!

That’s it for now! Thanks for reading my first bloggy. Maybe I’ll check in at the end of the week. Maybe not.

-Abby
